What type of Android issue is this? Reboot or Crash

What steps would let us observe this issue?
1. All I did was get close enough to the TMobile 5gwireless gateway to connect and it sent my phone into a bootloop. Only way to stop it was to reboot into safe mode and turn off wifi before restarting. It works fine on mobile data but the moment it connects to the TMobile wifi it crashes.
What did you expect to happen?
To connect and work as nornal

Constantly restarting my phone

Extreme - device was unusable
