Apparently, this issue was passed on to "the appropriate team" over 2 years ago, but *still* these arbitrary API restrictions exist. Any word on when I can expect to be able to use TasksBoard again? Because until Google opens its Tasks API to allow reoccurring tasks, I have paid software I can't even use. Thanks

This is so important -- tasks from google is lacking and no one can step in to improve on it. It becomes jumbled and inconsistent across applications, and particularly with google chat spaces and calendar using tasks. This has been pending for so long, why wont google do anything about it when they mark like they are doing something?

3rd party app builders would like to have a API for Google Tasks which provides adding Tasks on a "specific time". I use Fantastical with paid G suite and would like to plan my google tasks on a specific time. Fantastical tells me that it is up to you (Google) to provide them with a new API. Is that true?
