When using Data-driven styling and/or Cloud-based map styling, there doesn't seem to be any event that we can listen to to know when the styling has been applied / when the features have been displayed.

The map idle event fires well before the styles or features are displayed.

For example, see my SO answer here on how to style a postal code. As you can see from the snippet, the map loads, without any style applied, then after 1 to 2 seconds, the style and the feature are displayed.

I believe this is bad in terms of UX and we have no way to display a loader or anything so we don't see that style update.

Would it be possible to either

Have the map instance displayed only after everything has finished loading or
Have an event that we can listen to so we are able to display a loader or manually block the display of the map container until everything has finished loading
