OK, it has now gotten worse on my Pixel 6 phone. The screen to enter my PIN to unlock the phone (which of course I have to do 30+ times a day) is now the PIN unlock screen used for emergency calls. Just a keyboard with numbers along the top. Not easy to type into. The fact that there seems to be no resolution coming fast on this has me sadly thinking I need to get off the developer version/program as this truly effects my use of my phone for all purposes. I am attaching a google DOC that shows the screens I an seeing. The screens that no longer allow me to turn on fingerprint unlock.

OK, I checked this morning and I was on UPB1.230309.014. So I just called for a system update and it pulled down (7.05mb) UPB1.230309.017. So, so hope this is the cure! Thanks

Still happening to me with UPB1.230309.017. I can unlock the device by fingerprint if I don't open any notification on the lock screen, but if I do the fingerprint unlock doesn't work and the system asks for my PIN.

Hi, Google! The issue is NOT fixed, check the latest comments and bugs reports: FP unlocking does not work when opening a notification from a locked screen. Beta 1.1 only fixed the unlocking without opening a notification!
