Description
When using rasterized maps, any layer added on top of the map, can be placed over all labels, but with vector maps I cannot find a way to bring my own layer on top of labels layer. For this reason, my layer gets totally covered by labels and POIs. Image attached.
It would be great to have an API to change de order of the layers we are drawing, so we can decided if we want the labels and POIs on top of our layer or not. In addition to this, libraries like Deck.gl could use this to place their own generated layers depending on config.
Here you have a link to an issue referring to this in Deck.gl in which Deck.gl authors are asking Google Maps to do so:
Hope you can consider adding this feature, vector maps have improved the maps experience a lot!
