DESCRIBE THE ISSUE IN DETAIL:

I tried to check b/295991498 with android example from grpc-java repo.

I updated Gradle/AGP 8.3.0-alpha15 and used AndroidChannelBuilder which is recommended at https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/connectivity/grpc#transport

$ git clone https://github.com/ganadist/grpc-java -b networkinspector-test

$ cd grpc-java/examples/android/helloworld

Then

• Open helloworld project with Android Studio Iguana Canary 15
• Perform run
• Invoke helloworld server at grpc-java/examples

I can see log message which gRPC inspector was initialized on adb log like this.
