It looks like you're still using Hedgehog Canary 16, but the stable released version of Hedgehog has the fix and is available for download.

foo.webp, in multiple sizes, to project.R.drawable.foofrom code shortly after added, Android studio just freezes up while typing.This has happened 2-3 times already
