What you would like to accomplish:

• Currently no feature exists to protect deployed model from being undeployed accidentally on a resource level

How this might work:

• Would want this feature to work similarly to Vertex Notebooks VMs Deletion protection, so undeployment protection on the models (i.e a a setting that's applied on the resource level)

If applicable, reasons why alternative solutions are not sufficient:

• The closest thing we have limiting which users have the aiplatform.endpoints.undeploy permission but this is not an ideal workaround as multiple users with different uses cases may need the permission resulting in an additional layer in complexity to a user IAM infrastructure
