Description
This form is only for reporting bugs found in the Android Generic System Image. Refer to [aosp report bug page](
Please describe the problem in detail, include the following information about your report:
Most of the info could be found in Android Device’s “settings > system > about phone” page.
--------------------------------------------
HARDWARE PLATFORM:
Device Manufacturer: Xiaomi, Samsung
Device Brand and Device Model: Xiaomi Mix Fold 2, Samsung Galaxy Fold Series
Android OS Version (Base OS version before installing GSI image): Android 14
Android OS Build Number (please input the full string): different builds tested
STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Opening and closing the device does not properly switch the screen. When Folding, the internal screen goes off as it should but the outer one does not light up although the device thinks it is, as when you press the power button, the device goes to sleep and if there is an AOD activated, it shows up. When unfolding, the same happens, the external screen goes off but the internal one does not light up... This began happening with GSI builds from December 2023 and has been broken since then. It was fine before that. Tested on several devices and discussed it with a lot of people that have the same issue.
OBSERVED RESULTS: Screens not switching properly when Folding/Unfolding the devices.
EXPECTED RESULTS: One screen goes off and the other comes on.
