Description
Our testing artifacts have been Kotlin-first. Unlike production code, there's no reason to write tests in anything other than Kotlin. This is also true for the new
ViewModelScenarioAPI and they have two main issues when used from Java:viewModelScenariofunction isinline reifiedand inaccessible to Java clients.DefaultCreationExtras(defaultArgs)is cumbersome:DefaultCreationExtrasKt.DefaultCreationExtras(defaultArgs).We should evaluate the desired level of Java support for these testing APIs. As future inclusion is possible, this is not a blocker.
