Please provide an API to obtain references to children of MapView such as the compass, my location button, etc., so they can be moved, disabled, have their appearance changed, etc.  It is currently possible to obtain references to them via their tags, but the tags are not documented and therefore subject to change.

As part of this change, some views would need to have drawable state lists.  Currently, calling setEnabled(false) on the location button disables it but provides no visual feedback that it is disabled.  Calling setEnabled(false) on the compass has no effect at all, necessitating placing some other view over it to intercept clicks.
