Oh and by the way, where is the undo feature in the android feature request system? Just found, after some more extended searching, another issue (6458) which marked the lack of undo functionality as a defect instead of a feature request.

Just lost a ton of work trying to navigate a whole email with the two lines of text you get to see. No undo to fix it. Shameful to be missing such an integral feature that has been in computers for a long time now.

Yes, please! Especially since Alt+Backspace will delete an entire line or paragraph, which I sometimes do on accident.

IMHO THE major downside of Android is text editing- I thought it couldn't be much of an issue on my Desire Z until I found out... Get us an UNDO function! PLZZZ!!
Description
Android O is testing out customizable Navigation Bar buttons, but they cannot perform Undo or Redo due to the lack of corresponding keycodes:
(Frankly, Undo/Redo should be built into the stock keyboard and textbox context menus, but I digress.)
