Surely this is something that the developer can handle themselves. If they just have a reference to the Marker then add a custom property to the marker and use that as the id, I don't think we need to start adding more info to Marker objects for everyone.
I would need more use cases where this is out of the developers hands before I would consider putting this in the API.

What type of Android issue is this? Display or Rendering
What steps would let us observe this issue?
1. Connect the phone to Android auto and start listening to music in any player (like Spotify)
2. In the split screen view, try to change the song or press pause
What did you expect to happen?
The buttons should work correctly
What actually happened?
The song is actually playing, but the "pause" button is inexistent, I can only see the "play" button and nothing happens when I press it. The "next" and "previous" buttons are working correctly, but also the song progress bar is only updating for the first few seconds and then freezes.
