Google Maps web app (maps.google.com) is a different product from the Google Maps APIs and is not really the place to report this kind of requests, but we’d like to know if you’ve already reported this via Google Maps’s ‘Send Feedback’?

What would you like to see us add to this API?
While using G-Map and in the Drive, it would be easy if you can Display the name of the City on the Map in the Bottom middle, this will be helpful to the Driver which City currently he is driving, is there any task he can complete while in the go.
I have seen this “Displaying the City name in the middle of the bottle screen on the Live Map” in Tesla. So it would be a good addition to G-Map.
