I managed to fix my issue. Boot into repair mode, disable and enable esim again, wait for it to connect and exit repair mode. Worked for me, good luck.w

This started with Beta 3. On 2 occasions it was preceded by my noticing that the phone was using broadband even though it recognized that it was connected to Wi-Fi with a strong signal. Stopping and restarting Wi-Fi reestablished the connection.
