DESCRIBE THE ISSUE IN DETAIL:

Layoutlib's implementation of ThreadedRenderer#createHardwareBitmap() does not work, preventing compose ui's GraphicsLayer from functioning correctly in layout previews or paparazzi tests. Could this be solved?

This might fix https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/392817530 as well.
