Unexpected response on Geocoding API [406444863]

Params: 489 Waterfowl Ln, Lebanon, TN, 37090

For this API call, we are receiving the response as

   "long_name" : "Waterfowl Way",
   "short_name" : "Waterfowl Wy",
   "types" : 
    [
      "route"
    ]
}
...
"formatted_address" : "489 Waterfowl Wy, Lebanon, TN 37090, USA",

It is notable that the address passed has the route as Waterfowl Ln, but the response has Waterfowl Wy. And still the address is not marked as partial_match.

Can you let us know the reason behind this? or correct me if I am wrong. Thanks!!
