As you can see in the video, the navigation bar color changes, but the status bar icon color doesn't (they are white in light mode), which makes them unreadable.

When the initial theme is dark, it breaks when I switch to a light color, and when the initial color is light, it breaks on the dark theme.

The code is roughly something like this:
