We need to use functions as well as a GCE with GPUs. This isn't possible today as functions and GPU configs aren't available in the same region (US East). Please take this as urgent FR.

Thanks for making this request. It's a very common one. Broadening the geographic availability of Cloud Functions is one of our top priorities, and we're currently working on it. When we have a solid ETA, we'll share it with you.

Availability in Europe is very important. latency to the US service is way too much for our project to be launched with it's planned usage of Cloud Functions. We had to rewrite everything to a temporary local server with NodeJS on it. Please keep us posted about any updates and plannings
