Currently Android Gradle Plugin (AGP) builds jars that have time stamps stripped (yay), but the rest of the contents inside aars have time stamps (boo), which makes aars non-reproducible (e.g. if you build the same aar a minute later you will get a different sha1 of the aar).

It would be great if AGP included an option to drop all the timestamps from all the files inside the aar.

This feature would be very important for my work. Now, I have to use my desktop PC or the Gmail via a web browser to send my business e-mails with HTML signatures. This is not soo elegant in our mobilized world with an Asus EeePad Transformer in my hand.
