Currently, when we configure an instance with multiple interfaces, each interface must belong to a different VPC network [1]. This is a feature request to be able to add multiple network interfaces in a virtual machine (VM) instance on the same VPC network.

This is per design; in order to know if a user has the Chromecast extension installed (and which one), cast_sender.js requests the script from all potentially installed extensions.
