OS: Ubuntu 17.10
Espresso: 3.0.1
Android version on the recording device/emulator: Android 8.1 (Nexus 5X)
Android version on the replaying device/emulator: not applicable

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Rotate device to landscape
3. Run > Record Espresso Test
3. Add assertion

Actual: Screen capture for adding assertion is displayed in portrait

Expected: Screen capture for assertion is displayed in landscape

This was originally reported for Android Studio 2.2 (

https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/37116219), but the issue was marked erroneously as being fixed. The problem continues to exist.
