When did this happen?

What steps would let us observe this issue?
1. Setup fingerprint for your device
2. Lock the device
3. Fingerprint sign should appear but that does not happen
4. Lock symbol appear in place of fingerprint sign so you have to enter pin to unlock the device

What did you expect to happen?
I expected the device to show a fingerprint symbol.

What actually happened?
The fingerprint symbol just went missing

Every time

What was the effect of this issue on your device usage, such as lost time or work?
High

Additional comments
This problem was not there earlier but then it happened yesterday and i can't use my fingerprint.
