What steps would let us observe this issue?
1. Use system navigation, especially the recents screen
2. Sometimes the 'back' or 'swipe up to go home' gestures don't work

System navigation working

System becoming unresponsive

Additional comments
It is quite random, but the most reliable way to reproduce is in Wallpaper & Style. And, possibly related, sometimes when unlocking with fingerprint the phone unlocks but stays on the lockscreen (swiping up still requires a password, but the background is the wallpaper, instead of a gray screen), and after several seconds finally goes to the homescreen
